| | Nine teams competed in the 2009 Hilly Dilly Couples Member-Guest tournament on August 29th and 30th at The Club. Fortunately, the weather cooperated for the event. Play began on Saturday and ended with a social hour and delicious dinner buffet in the club house. Teams gathered early on Sunday morning for a hot breakfast buffet before teeing off. Club member, Sandy Wedding, did an outstanding job coordinating the event.
Congratulations to all the teams for outstanding play, and especially to the following:

| | 2009 Tri-Cities PGA Yamaha Pro-Lady - by Debbie Shelley | | |
| | The Country Club of Bristol was host to the annual Tri-Cities PGA Yamaha Pro-Lady event on August 6th. 109 ladies and professionals from the area played, representing 14 local clubs. The Country Club of Bristol's team defended their home course and won the event with a score of 59. The team consisted of Sandra Hood, Betty Spencer, Christine Warden, Patsy Wampler, and our Head Professional Rob Nelson. 2nd Place was won by The Ridges with a score of 61, and The Virginian took 3rd place with a score of 62.
The Professional Division was won by The Club's own Rob Nelson with a score of 67. Chris Stacy of Lonesome Pine and Darren Howard of The Ridges tied for 2nd place with a score of 68. Steve Munson of Graysburg Hills took 4th place with a score of 69.

| | Any account unpaid at the next billing date shall be considered delinquent and will be subject to an interest charge of 7% per month. Anyone delinquent for 60 days will be sent a certified letter stating his/her name has 7 days to bring account current or the account will be suspended. (no club privileges will be allowed) Unless otherwise agreed upon, 90 day accounts will be subject to collection proceedings.

| | The King Men’s golf team, lead by its 2 freshman, Josh Bamberger and Nick Carden posted it’s second straight win in the fall AAC tournament hosted by King. Josh set 2 school individual records in the process and the team set 3 records during the event. Junior captain, Brad Weaver also set a individual record on the first day. The win propelled King to the top of the AAC and made them the early favorite for the National tournament from the AAC Conference. The Club offers the golf course to the King College golf team. Club Golf Professional Rob Nelson coaches the team. | | |

| | Country Club of Bristol Ladies Interclub won 1st in the Net division and 2nd in the Gross division.
Opponents were The Ridges, Johnson City Country Club, Ridgefield's, Link Hills, and The Virginian. The ladies who participated in 2008 were; Christine Warden (Chairman), Marianne Fischer, Donna Doyle, Delores Leonard, Judy Shumate, Karen Buss, Patsy Wampler, Sandy Wedding, Betty Spencer, Lynne Testerman and Sandra Hood.
